TGJTA and Thai-Chinese Partners Inspire the Next Generation of Jewelry Designers

The Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA), in collaboration with its partners from Thailand and China, hosted a Jewelry Design Workshop under the China & Thailand Jewelry Design Contest 2025 project. The event aimed to spark creativity and inspire young talents to explore the world of professional jewelry design.

The workshop featured insights from Mr. Chomphol Phornchindarak, President of TGJTA, who shared his knowledge on the gem and jewelry industry, highlighting key trends and popular gemstones in the global market — opening up new perspectives for young participants.

Adding to the inspiration was a Jewelry Design Sketching Workshop conducted by Mr. Pichet Ruangsri, a professional designer from Jewelry Design Studio, who guided participants in honing their creative skills and pursuing their dreams of becoming future jewelry designers.

This event not only fostered creativity but also marked an important step in introducing young people to the gem and jewelry industry, one of Thailand’s key economic drivers.
