The Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) recently welcomed a delegation from the World Gold Council China (WGC), led by Mr. Chomphol Phornchindarak, President of TGJTA, Mr. Somchai Phornchindarak, President of the Gems, Jewelry, and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand (GJPCT), Ms. Amira Hatta, Vice President of TGJTA, and Ms. Vilasinee Noknuam, Secretary-General of TGJTA.

This meeting provided a valuable opportunity for both organizations to exchange information about the gold jewelry industry and to strengthen their relationship. The engagement may lead to future collaborations that benefit the gem and jewelry sectors in both Thailand and China.

For Thai entrepreneurs, the growing popularity of gold jewelry in China presents a promising opportunity to expand their market presence. With Thailand’s high-quality craftsmanship and distinctive jewelry designs, Thai businesses are well-positioned to attract Chinese consumers. Additionally, the cooperation between TGJTA and WGC could help Thai enterprises establish stronger connections with the Chinese market, ensuring more effective business opportunities.
