TGJTA Joins “Be Santa and Gift with Bangkok” Initiative

Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA), represented by Mr. Chomphol Phornchindarak, 1st Vice President of the association, participated in the “Be Santa and Gift with Bangkok” event. Organized by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) in collaboration with TikTok Thailand and Bang Rak District Office, the event was held at Park Silom to support the BKK Food Bank initiative, aimed at bringing joy to vulnerable communities in Bangkok.

The program invites Bangkok residents to transform their “belongings” into “gifts” through the BKK Food Bank system, which collects surplus food and essential items to distribute to vulnerable groups. This unique approach empowers recipients to choose the items they need, fostering dignity and self-esteem.

The BKK Food Bank not only addresses social inequality but also promotes food security and reduces food waste, contributing to long-term sustainability. The initiative aims to establish a transparent and reliable system that encourages community involvement and accountability.

TGJTA is proud to be part of this meaningful event and remains committed to supporting efforts that promote equality and sustainability in society.
