International Jewelry Design Contest “China & Thailand Jewelry Design Contest 2025”
Under the theme "Modernize China-Thai"
Mix Media Category: Open to all ages
1. Purpose and Background
Jewelry design is a harmonious blend of artistry and skill that fosters creativity and develops design expertise among youth and the broader public. This competition is intended to provide a platform for individuals eager to showcase their talents, thus strengthening the gems and jewelry industry with innovative ideas from emerging designers. Additionally, it aims to inspire young people and introduce them to the gems and jewelry industry, a vital sector that ranks among the top three revenue-generating industries of Thailand.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Thai-Chinese relations, the association is organizing this competition under the theme "Modernize China-Thai." Participants are invited to draw inspiration from the historical relationship between Thailand and China and translate that into modern designs. The focus is on integrating elements of art, culture, and identity from both China and Thailand with modern aesthetics to create works that reflect contemporary beauty and relevance.

Mix Media Category: Open to all ages
Note: The competition age is based on the participant's ID card at the time of the competition deadline. Participants may submit one design in each category.
4. Rules and Conditions
4.1 Submission of Works
1.Mix Media Category: Open to any type of jewelry design using any materials or techniques. Mixed media techniques can be used freely, including hand-drawing, digital drawing (tablet), fabric, wood, stone, mixed art, etc.
2. All works must be original and not previously published or submitted to any other competition.
3. The rights to the design remain with the participants, but the organizers may use the designs for promotional purposes. The designs cannot be commercially produced without permission.
4.The judges' decisions are final.
5.Registration Fees:
Mix Media Categories: No registration fee.
9. Submission of Applications and Works
Mix Media Category: Submit the application and photo of the design by email to [email protected] with the subject line "Mix Media Submission – China & Thailand Jewelry Design Contest 2025."

Note: The dates and times of the activities may change as appropriate.
For the Mix Media categories
In the final round of the Mix Media categories, participants will present their submitted designs and explain the concept, inspiration, and design process within 5 minutes. After the presentation, there will be a 5-minute interview with the judges. Participants are allowed to bring any materials or tools they need for the presentation.
This is an opportunity for participants to show their creativity and design process, and it will help the judges evaluate the work from different perspectives, such as the concept, feasibility of production, and how well it fits the competition theme.

6.1.3 Feasibility for production (5%)
6.1.4 Application of "Modernize China-Thai" concept (30%)
