Mr. Chomphol Phornchindarak, President of the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA), together with Mr. Somchai Phornchindarak, President of the Gems, Jewelry, and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand (GJPCT), and Ms. Vilasinee Noknaum, Secretary-General of TGJTA, attended the celebration marking the 78th Independence Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

 

On this significant occasion, the Association presented a congratulatory floral bouquet to H.E. Mrs. Edirisinghe Arachchilage Sriyani Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Thailand, as a gesture of respect and to reaffirm the strong and cordial relations between the two nations.

Thailand and Sri Lanka share a longstanding collaboration in the gems and jewelry industry. Both countries play important roles in the global supply chain, and their continued cooperation contributes to strengthening expertise, fostering business opportunities, and enhancing the global competitiveness of the gems and jewelry sector in a sustainable and enduring manner.
