On 13 September , Mr.Chomphol Phornchidarak 1st Vice President of Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders association , Mr.Somchai Phornchindarak President of Gems Jewelry and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand along with TGJTA director welcome Mr. Msafiri L Mbibo, Deputy Permanent Secretary Ministry Of Minerals, The United Republic of Tanzania and Tanzania delegation to exchange ways of cooperation between Thailand - Tanzania

Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association represents Thai entrepreneurs in creating cooperation between the Ministry Of Minerals (Tanzania) ,Tanzania Parliament in trade and gem industry development and exchange knowledge on improving gem quality.

 

Tanzania is the one of gemstone sourcing that Thailand has imported Gemstone products from Tanzania such as jewellery, precious stones, silver bars and gold, especially Tanzanised gemstones, it is a rare gem. Tanzania is the only source in the world where it is produced commercially.

  

Therefore this meeting is a great opportunity to develop trade and investment including relationships in the gem and jewelry industry between Tanzania and Thailand.
