Friday, February 14, 2025 – The “Precious Love at Bang Rak” event at the Jewelry Trade Center (JTC) welcomed 906 couples from across Thailand, who came to register their marriage in this auspicious district known for love and prosperity. The event, hosted by the Bang Rak District Office, was filled with romance, joy, and special activities to commemorate this significant day.

Bangkok Governor, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, honored the event with his presence and took part in the gold marriage certificate lucky draw, presenting these special certificates to lucky couples as a symbol of love and lifelong commitment. This year, the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) supported the event by donating 14 gold marriage certificates to the Bang Rak District Office. The number 14 holds special significance, symbolizing prosperity and stability in married life.

As part of the celebrations, TGJTA also hosted a special seminar on how to choose and buy gemstones with confidence, led by Mr. Chomphol Phornchindarak, President of TGJTA, and Ms. Wilasinee Noknuam, Secretary-General of TGJTA. They introduced Gemports, a key project by TGJTA that serves as an internationally recognized price index for colored gemstones.

Adding to the joyous atmosphere, TGJTA also gifted lucky couples with auspicious natural gemstones and exclusive souvenirs, ensuring that their special day was even more memorable.

The “Precious Love at Bang Rak” event continues to be a cherished tradition, celebrating love while also promoting Thailand’s vibrant gems and jewelry industry. TGJTA remains committed to supporting initiatives that enhance love, prosperity, and the global reputation of Thailand’s jewelry sector.
