Q: Who is eligible to apply for TGJTA membership?
A: Businesses and individuals engaged in the gem and jewelry industry, operating legally, are eligible to apply for membership.
Q: What types of membership are available?
A: There are two types of membership:
Ordinary Member: Juristic persons (companies)
Associate Member: Individuals or retail businesses
Q: What documents are required to apply for membership?
A: Applicants must complete the membership application form and submit the following documents:
Applicant Documents
Two photographs of the applicant (1-inch or 2-inch size)
One business card (if available)
Copy of Thai ID card and house registration (for Thai nationals)
Copy of passport (first page) and work permit (first and latest page) for foreigners
One photo of the business premises clearly showing the company name
Company Documents
Copy of company registration certificate issued by the Department of Business Development
(not older than 6 months)
Copy of shareholder list
Copy of VAT registration certificate (Por Por 20)
Endorsement Requirement
The application form must be endorsed by two Ordinary Members or Honorary Members of TGJTA
Q: Do company documents need to be signed and stamped?
A: Yes. All company documents must be signed and stamped with the company seal, certifying them as true copies.
Q: Is endorsement required for new members?
A: Yes. New applicants must be endorsed by two TGJTA members to confirm their credibility and business reliability.
Q: What is the membership application fee?
A: Entrance Fee: THB 10,000 and Annual Membership Fee: THB 6,500
Q: How long does the membership approval process take?
A: Once all required documents are submitted completely, the application will be reviewed by the TGJTA committee according to the meeting schedule.
