Following the signing, representatives from both parties held a joint meeting to discuss future areas of cooperation. The MOU aims to establish a collaborative network between academia and the gem and jewelry industry, focusing on knowledge exchange, information sharing, and experience transfer, as well as the development of industry professionals. The cooperation also includes the joint development and delivery of short-term training programs aligned with the needs of the industry.

Key areas of collaboration further cover teaching and learning management, learner assessment and evaluation, promotion of credit accumulation through Burapha University’s Credit Bank system, and consideration of credit transfer into undergraduate degree programs.
